FLAME" Born "Marjorie Reid" in Montego Bay, Jamaica,
June 13th 1983, has been singing before from the age of 2. "Lady
Flame" has been singing and sharing her God given gift with people
all over the world. It was in church that this remarkable gift was both
shown and discovered allowing her to travel world-wide performing at
numerous events.
It was the summer of 1998 that she decided to pursue her love of music.
Stationed in Washington D.C., Flame has captivated the hearts, ears,
and minds of many reggae, Hip-hop, and R & B fans. With her beautiful
and melodious voice she always manages to demand attention from crowds
whether male or female. The versatile and talented "Lady Flame"
has performed with major artists such as Capleton, Wayne Wonder, Spragga
Benz, Lexxus, Baby Cham, The Monster Shack Crew, T.O.K, Ward 21, Elephant
Man, and many more Reggae artists, just to name a few. She has also
performed with Machel, Montano, Iwer George, Allison Hinds, Traffik,
Candy, Sherwin Winchester and Burning Flames. All which are artists
in a different genre of music. She is sought out by numerous top notch
DJ’s in the United States and Jamaica for her voice for Dubs,
Soca Plates, and Specials proving to be one of Washington ,D.C fastest
rising artist. In 2002, Flame professionally recorded 2 tracks “Bash
To The Max” and “Over You” with Jaquzzi Records, Inc.
on the compilation album “Round One: Bashigyal vs. Kickback”.
With all this talent and experience it’s no wonder that she copped the award
for the “Best Female Singer” in Washington, D.C. at the
2002 6th Annual Washington, D.C. Reggae Music Awards, and was a finalist
and hot contender in the 2005 D.C. Calypso Competition. Also in 2005,
Flame laid the background harmony for reggae superstar Norris Man’s
upcoming track “The Search Is On” and is currently percolating
the world with her smash soca hit”Just Wanna Dance” and
emotional kaiso track “Music” for 2006.
Appearing on numerous forms of media, "Lady Flame" is destined
to shine. “Hearing people say they love my music and the way I
perform is a reward in itself. My main goal is to unify all different
types of races, ethnic groups, and cultures with my music. Seeing people
enjoy themselves shows me that I am definitely doing something right.
If my love for music can recruit another then i am very happy.”

R&B, Lover’s Rock, Dancehall Reggae, and Soca just to name
